As a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic in the U.S. Army, you will be responsible for supervising and performing maintenance, repair, and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles and select armored vehicles. Your duties will include inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, adjusting, and testing wheeled vehicles, material handling equipment systems, subsystems, and components, as well as automotive electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and perform maintenance, repair, and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles and select armored vehicles.
- Inspect, service, maintain, repair, replace, adjust, and test wheeled vehicles, material handling equipment systems, subsystems, and components.
- Work with automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses and starting and charging systems.
