**Job Overview**

The Palace is a Luxury Senior Living Community operating in Kendall, Coral Gables, Homestead & Weston. We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Activities Coordinator to join our team.

**About the Role**

This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who enjoys planning events, leading group activities, and interacting with residents. As an Activities Coordinator, you will assist the Director of Activities & Entertainment in executing the residents' activity program, lead group activities, and visit residents to complete their Activity Profile.

**Responsibilities**

  • Decorate the building for parties, holidays, and special events.
  • FOLLOW THE DAILY ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE and carry out assigned planned activities and events.
  • Maintain an ongoing inventory of departmental supplies and equipment.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in activity areas and supply closets.
  • Ensure resident safety and well-being during activities.
  • Assist the Director by interviewing residents based on their activities profile and input the information into the CRM.

**Requirements**

  • Prior experience in recreation settings or party planning is preferred.
  • Creative skills and the ability to create new activities for the program.
  • Performance experience, such as singing or dancing, is a plus.
  • High school degree or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with Spanish proficiency a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of various activities and instruction-giving abilities.

**Salary:** $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience.
