Dishroom Assistant

Job Summary

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe dishroom environment. The successful candidate will be required to check detergent levels, run items through the dish machine, and store dishes properly. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Check for proper equipment levels: Ensure that the dish machine has sufficient water temperatures and rinse agent levels throughout the shift.
• Operate the dish machine: Follow established procedures for running items through the machine.
• Maintain a clean dishroom: Stack and store dishes, glasses, and flatware correctly to prevent contamination.
• Cleanliness and organization: Keep the dishroom dry and clean at all times, including guest and employee restrooms.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow team members as needed to achieve shared goals.
• Physical demands: Stand and/or walk 100% of the time, frequently lift up to 50 lbs, and work in temperatures above 90 degrees or below 30 degrees.

• A $13 - $15 per hour salary based on experience.
