Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a full range of speech pathology services to patients of all ages
- Evaluating and treating speech and language disorders, cognitive impairments, visual field deficits, and dysphagia
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
Required qualifications include:
- Masters degree or equivalency in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited education program
- Current state license as a Speech/Language Pathologist by the State of California Board of Medical Examiners
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech/Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)
Preferred qualifications include:
- Spanish speaking proficiency
- Minimum of one year of hospital experience
- Basic Windows and mouse skills
