Overview

The CT technologist plays a vital role in assisting physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

Responsibilities

As a CT technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating CT equipment, and interpreting information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to their age-specific needs.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT technologist who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Education: 2-year associate degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
  • Experience: One year experience in CT, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • NH Medical Center-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
    • NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
    • NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
    • IV Credentialed, required.
    • Applicable state license, required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient.
