About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Urban Planning Director to lead our Transit and TOD Systems practice. This individual will drive growth, innovation, and excellence in designing and delivering transformative transit infrastructure projects.

Job Description:

As Urban Planning Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced professionals in developing and implementing cutting-edge transit systems that prioritize sustainability, equity, and community engagement.

Your expertise will shape the future of urban mobility, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of cities and their residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership: Provide creative vision and technical expertise in designing transit systems that integrate seamlessly with urban environments.
Business Development: Identify and pursue high-priority projects that align with our strategic goals and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
Practice Building: Foster a collaborative culture within the team, promoting knowledge sharing, innovation, and excellence in all aspects of project delivery.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field, plus 10 years of relevant experience.
  • • Professional licensure as an Architect (RA) or Planner (AICP).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 15 years of experience in leadership roles within architecture, engineering, or consulting firms focused on urban cities and transit-oriented projects.
