AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Central Florida. With a focus on delivering exceptional patient care, this role will be responsible for providing clinical and clerical services in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced LPN who can work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care. This includes rooming patients, assisting with exams and procedures, performing waived lab tests, starting IV's, taking verbal orders, and administering medications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors physicians' schedules and organizes patient care to ensure timely preparation
  • Rrooms patients, including vital signs, reason for visit, patient history, allergies, and completes appropriate documentation
  • Assists the physician with examination and procedures
  • Maintains open communication to ensure quality care
  • Audits ordered tests to ensure results are received and followed up on in a timely manner
  • Covers triage calls and ensures calls are answered timely and documented appropriately
  • Administers IV's and accepts physician orders by phone and verbally

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Licensed Practical Nursing school
  • Current, active LPN license in the state of Florida
  • Active BLS certification
