CV Technologist II

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled CV Technologist II to join our team. As a CV Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cardiovascular technical procedures, including cardiology and vascular procedures. You will work under the direction of a cardiologist or vascular surgeon and will be required to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.

• Perform cardiology and vascular procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
• Work under the direction of a cardiologist or vascular surgeon.
• Perform a variety of cardiovascular technical procedures, including cardiology and vascular procedures.
• Load TAVR valves, scrub, monitor, and circulate in TAVR cases, PFO/ASD, mitral clip, LAA, and other structural heart procedures.
• Perform advanced vascular cases, including peripheral and EVAR, and electrophysiology studies, such as Afib ablation and VT ablation.
• Train and educate others on the team to advance their skill set to adopt to these technologies.
• Take call as rotated/assigned and respond within 30 minutes.

• Four-week notice required for resignation/transfer, change in employment status resulting in decreased hours worked.
• Able to take call as required by department/hospital and respond in hospital within 30 minutes.
• Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, and performs hand hygiene according to accepted standards of care.
• Identifies and prepares patient using aseptic technique as dictated by procedure ordered.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and enforces safety regulations.
• Annually meets all required department specific competencies.
