Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Resin Technician to join our team at Plasman Lawrenceburg Manufacturing. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for distributing raw materials and finished products within the plant, ensuring a smooth and efficient production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply Plasman's guiding principles when carrying out the responsibilities of the position, complying with the quality and environmental policy and objectives, procedures, standards, policies, work instructions, etc.
  • Always keep the hoppers, hoses, filters, dryers, and grinders clean and ready for use to avoid contamination of materials and delays in starting the order.
  • Generate maintenance work orders when the equipment with which it operates suffers any damage.
  • Timely and duly supply, with the authorized amount of material, the work order, always filling out the material usage records.
  • Ensure at all times, using the correct parameters, that the resin is properly dried for order start-up.
  • Maintain at all times, during the order run, the adequate level of resin in the dryer and in the hopper to avoid delays in production.
  • Carry out correctly the mixtures of materials (grind, pigment, etc.) according to the instructions of the order.
  • Ensures that the material and/or finished product are perfectly identified before it is delivered to the production line and/or warehouse - identify weight, batches, type of material, etc.
  • Adequately and punctually supply the packaging material to the work stations - plastic containers, cardboard boxes and/or plastic bags, trays, etc.
  • Removes the finished product from the machines ensuring that it is properly identified and released for quality.
  • Removes the waste cardboard from the machines and places it in the corresponding area
  • Maintains the 5's standard in your work area and in dryers
  • Report to your supervisor any risk situation or unsafe condition that you detect while performing your duties.
  • Complies with the necessary security measures to prevent accidents and environmental contingencies.
  • Maintains a safe work environment and uses personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Perform other functions as assigned that may not be described in this document.
  • Management and administration of the central resin loading system.
  • Management and administration of resin drying.
  • Change of resin in machine and hooper cleaning.

Requirements:

  • High School, Technical Career or equivalent experience
  • 1 year in similar position
  • Knowledge of quality policy and environmental policy
  • Knowledge of the procedures that apply to the IMS position
  • Knowledge of the environmental aspects and impacts of the Plant and its area
