Key Responsibilities:
- Annual Marketing Strategy: Develop and align the annual retail marketing plan with brand and customer strategies.
- Collaborate with the Retail Sales Team: Work with the retail sales team to set marketing goals and volume targets.
- Define Marketing Tactics: Define marketing tactics that support our strategic objectives and communicate these clearly to stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and Analyze Performance: Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance versus plan.
- Manage External Agencies: Manage external agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Measure Campaign Effectiveness: Measure campaign effectiveness, share insights, and optimize to boost ROI.
Strategic Leadership:
- Lead Strategic Planning: Lead the strategic planning process to drive brand and private label growth.
- Generate Insights: Generate actionable insights on products, consumers, and the competitive landscape in the retail channel.
- Build Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with marketing and advertising touchpoints of key customers.
- Oversee Category-Specific Brand Positioning: Oversee category-specific brand positioning, including product innovation pipelines.
Execution and Collaboration:
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead cross-functional teams to implement marketing strategies and product launches.
- Work with Category Management and Insights: Work with Category Management and Insights to conduct consumer research.
- Support the Retail Sales Team: Support the retail sales team in creating opportunities with key customers.
- Manage Customer-Specific Marketing Programs: Manage customer-specific marketing programs, ensuring all elements and timings are executed seamlessly.
- Deliver Engaging Presentations: Deliver engaging presentations and product training to support our retail partners.
Corporate Participation:
- Engage in Corporate Initiatives: Engage in corporate initiatives, such as training, development, and DE&I sessions.
- Represent Clemens Food Group: Represent CFG in industry events and community outreach initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
- Marketing Experience: 5-7 years of marketing experience, ideally with a customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge of Food Marketing: Knowledge of food marketing, consumer behavior, and retail trends (including omni-channel).
- Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally (5-10%).
- Positive Attitude: Positive attitude, team player, and lead by example.
