Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at TotalMed Staffing. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care in acute care settings, assessing patient conditions and coordinating treatment plans.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work with patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units. As a Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality patient care, monitor vital signs and telemetry readings, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver specialized nursing care to patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, identifying changes in health status and responding promptly
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and educate patients on self-care management
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current RN license
• BLS certification (other certifications may be required by the facility)
• Two years of recent experience as a Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
