Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled 72-Hour Assessment Coordinator to join our team at Talbott Recovery. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and completing the referral and intake process, determining the appropriate level of care, and maintaining follow-up communication with referral sources, families, patients, and program staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain accurate information and interpret patients' histories of dependence/disorder
  • Determine callers' appropriateness for Talbott Recovery Campus's services
  • Communicate patient admissions, transfers, and unusual occurrences to involved personnel
  • Explain the evaluation and admission process to potential patients/referral sources
  • Document all intake information into the database, including demographics and assessments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with active Addiction Certification or Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a psychiatric/substance abuse facility preferred
