Job Title: Senior Building Automation Systems EngineerSalary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Automation Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for coordinating engineering and field activities for assigned projects, including new construction and renovations.

You will provide leadership support to maintain customer satisfaction and financial results, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers to complete assigned projects on time
  • Demonstrate comprehension of project-specific control sequences and scope
  • Collaborate with BAS application engineers to develop shop drawings and programs
  • Provide quality assurance of engineering packages
  • Understand project plans and specifications
  • Communicate technical issues to project managers and contractors
  • Forecast revenues and re-estimate project costs
  • Maintain project schedules and working relationships
  • Report to work on time and ready to perform assigned tasks
  • Mentor team members and contribute to project meetings
  • Communicate with jobsite personnel and complete project objectives
  • Support a performance-based culture and employee safety

This role requires 4+ years of experience in engineering, computer technology, or a related field. You must have a strong understanding of building construction methods, HVAC Controls, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience executing HVAC Controls and Building Automation Systems projects with high complexity. You should also be able to write Building Automation Systems programs and graphics, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in engineering, computer technology, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of building construction methods, HVAC Controls, and electrical systems
  • Ability to execute HVAC Controls and Building Automation Systems projects with high complexity
  • Experience writing Building Automation Systems programs and graphics
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
