Must-Have: Experience with CT and IV skills


Job Description:


  • Perform general X-ray and fluoroscopy for outpatient services.
  • Conduct typical outpatient CT scans.
  • Must be skilled in starting IVs for CT procedures.
  • Handle an average of 1530 scans/studies per day, varying by location.
  • Use EPIC for EMR and Sectra for PACS.
  • Operate equipment primarily from manufacturers such as Philips for CT and GE/Shimadzu for X-ray.
  • Work under the guidance of the lead technologist at each location.
  • Collaborate with radiologists who are onsite during the day and on-call at night.
  • May work across multiple locations, with assignments known ahead of the shift.
  • Follow a schedule of Monday through Friday, without weekend or holiday work requirements.
  • Be aware of potential shift cancellations, with a maximum of three per contract.
  • Complete orientation involving 12 hours.
This role is within outpatient imaging centers that may require travel between locations approximately 15 minutes apart.
