Mount Indie is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator who will oversee logistical operations for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Air Operations Center (AOC) initiative.

This role encompasses the management of material acquisition, handling, storage, tracking, dispatch, and inventory from the moment materials are ordered until they are installed on-site.

The position requires an on-site presence in Oneida, NY, followed by travel to Kuwait for extended periods to assist with the installation and development of the AOC initiative.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor materials throughout the entire logistics process from procurement to installation in the designated country.
  • Ensure complete inventory accuracy of all materials and equipment related to the project.
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments and reporting.
  • Receive materials at the designated warehouse within the continental United States.
  • Manage material tracking and the sign-in/sign-out process for items transferred between the warehouse and the System Integration Lab (SIL).
  • Implement IUID tagging, tracking, and reporting protocols.
  • Prepare, unpack, consolidate, and palletize materials for shipping.
  • Develop an Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) that includes product support details, sustainment strategies, and spares models based on Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis.
  • Monitor, order, and maintain spare parts, as well as repair or replace any spares that are consumed, damaged, or degraded during installation and testing.
  • Assist in the Ship Readiness Review (SRR) prior to notifying the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) with a Shipping Information Request (SIR).
  • Prepare all necessary shipping documentation to be submitted to DCMA as part of the SIR process.
  • Coordinate with DCMA for the collection of materials from the contractor's staging location within the continental United States.
  • Package, label, and ship all materials in compliance with relevant standards for commercial packaging and the intended mode of transportation.
  • Conduct inventory checks upon delivery at the AOC facility outside the continental United States, ensuring materials and equipment are undamaged and match pre-shipment inventory.
  • Inform the customer of any missing or damaged items, providing descriptions and photographic evidence as necessary.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel regarding warehousing, tools, equipment, vehicles, storage, and laydown areas.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret security clearance is required.
  • Must possess a valid US driver's license.
  • A valid Forklift license is necessary.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) or military logistics management, including procurement, transportation, receiving, storage, inventory management, packaging, shipping, and disposal of materials.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience utilizing logistics and inventory management software.
  • Experience with both continental and outside continental United States shipments for DoD or military clients, including all related documentation.
  • Previous experience working on-site outside the continental United States in a logistics capacity is strongly preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods to the Middle East is essential.
  • Familiarity with Export Control Compliance, ITAR, including Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs), permits, and export licenses is required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
