Job Description

This role involves working as part of a team to provide support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in a safe and respectful environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting individuals in their daily routines, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment">
  • Assist individuals in morning routines, preparing them for the day ahead">
  • Provide awake coverage during emergency situations or fire drills">
  • Administer medications and healthcare as required">
  • Physically assist individuals during emergencies or when needed for care">
  • Participate in developing Individual Service Plans and implementing objectives">
  • Respect individuals' human rights, privacy, and confidentiality">
  • Ensure transportation needs are met">
  • Model appropriate behaviors, dress, and social norms">
  • Maintain communication with staff through daily logs and incident reports">
  • Participate in required trainings, staff meetings, and supervisions">
  • Complete required trainings and maintain certifications">
  • Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations">

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent">
  • One year of experience in developmental services or behavioral health (preferred)">
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving status">
  • A reliable vehicle that seats two passengers">
