About the Role
Rapides Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Trauma Advanced Practice Provider to join our rapidly growing ACS verified Level II trauma program in Central Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care as a Trauma Advanced Practice Provider in a hospital setting
- Collaborate with the medical staff to increase and build the trauma program
- Develop and implement treatment plans for trauma patients
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Acute Care Certification
- Preferable to have two years of surgery or hospitalist experience
- Ability to work a 7on/7off block schedule or as agreed upon with physician
