Job Summary:

The Senior Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating patient care, communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and managing administrative tasks. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care, including scheduling appointments, ordering lab tests, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Manage administrative tasks, such as processing insurance claims, maintaining accurate records, and updating patient information
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient engagement and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in patient care coordination or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, with ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
