At Tygart Technology Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled VTC Technician to support our telecommunications initiatives for a government customer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and maintaining VTC infrastructure devices. This role requires a current Top Secret security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer VTC systems, including updates, changes, audit reporting, and operating procedures.
  • Provide Tier 2-3 VTC support, including call scheduling and remote conference and streaming assistance.
  • Coordinate scheduling, inter-agency conferences, and telephone device support.
  • Offer Tier 3 troubleshooting support.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for Unified Communications (UC), Desktop Environment (DTE), and integrated conference activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience operating and maintaining VTC infrastructure devices.
  • One year of experience with Cisco VCS and Expressway devices is required.
  • Certification in Crestron and A/V is desired.
  • Familiarity with Windows Office 2013 and newer, along with Windows 7 operating systems and newer is necessary.
  • Ability to travel for installations and/or system troubleshooting as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to work well under pressure.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
