We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our core IT infrastructure solutions.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role in our IT infrastructure team. You will be responsible for implementing and managing our core systems, including network infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity measures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement core IT infrastructure solutions, including network infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity measures.
  • Manage and maintain our core systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery planning, implementation, and testing.
  • Monitor and manage the backup infrastructure to ensure the integrity of our systems.
  • Provide general IT infrastructure support and assistance to the team.
  • Assist in the resolution of escalated support desk tickets.
  • Creation and maintenance of SOPs and systems documentation.
  • Ensure operational compliance within departmental standards and general industry best practices.
  • Sharing progress reports with leadership teams and other departments to communicate changes and implementation of new technologies.
  • Lead and manage communication with IT vendors and third-party companies.
  • Analyzing network data and infrastructure to determine inefficiencies and problems.
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation according to the PMBOK.
  • Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
  • Implementation, integration, configuration, development, and support of all stages of the SD-WAN process.
  • Implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing, and designing communication networks based on Cisco Meraki technologies and equipment.
  • Maintain and improve data availability, security, and integrity of the IT systems, as prescribed in the Kingspan IT Manual.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure standards and best practices.
  • Cloud technology experience with an emphasis on MS Azure.
  • Office365 Administration.
  • Systems Administration, Troubleshooting, and Management.
  • Skilled in Windows Server 2016, 2019 Implementation, Troubleshooting, and Management.
  • VMware and Virtualization technologies.
  • Microsoft Active Directory in a multi-domain environment.
  • Security Best Practices.
  • MERAKI networking skills are essential, HP Aruba skills are desirable.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Documentation of IT processes, procedures, systems, and incidents as appropriate.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in a similar role in a corporate environment.
  • Manufacturing environment experience.
  • Relevant industry certification CCNA, CCAP, MCSE, Azure Administrator, Azure Network Engineer are a plus.
