Job Title: Childcare Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Worker to join our team at the Marygrove Early Childhood Education Center. As a Childcare Worker, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to children, ages infancy through 4, and ensuring they have a safe, enjoyable, and developmentally enriching experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain a safe, fun, and inviting environment for young children and their parents.
  • Provide childcare support before and after preschool at the Marygrove EEC.
  • Assist other childcare team members in organizing and carrying out planned activities and offer ideas for new activities.
  • Exhibit positive child handling techniques when interacting with parents and children.
  • Elevate any conflicts or concerns with parents or children to the Center Leader.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other team members as required.
  • Sanitize toys and classroom equipment regularly.
Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • CDA preferred.
  • One year of previous experience working with pre-school aged children preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
