About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Front End Engineer to join our AWS Industry Products team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing highly-scalable technical solutions with intuitive interfaces that delight customers.

Our team collaborates with strategic customers to build new, industry-specific products that directly impact and transform industries at AWS scale. We are a team of innovators that tackle difficult problems, and build products through fast iteration in a start-up like environment.

Key responsibilities include working backwards from customer needs, collaborating with product, UX and other stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions, owning the full software development lifecycle, and communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced Front End Engineer obsessed with customer success, passionate about simplification and design-thinking, and excited to dive deep into an opportunity to change the way the world moves with new products for automotive companies and riders.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
  • 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
  • Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
