About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Vascular Specialist at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. As a key member of our department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and providing high-quality imaging services.

Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital is a 267-bed full-service hospital offering a range of medical services, including advanced diagnostic imaging, surgical services, and rehabilitation programs. We are committed to providing compassionate, personalized care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and special ultrasound procedures with moderate complexity, ensuring accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians to provide direct assistance during diagnostic procedures, adhering to sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient care, explaining procedures and results in a clear and concise manner, utilizing verbal and non-verbal skills.
- Maintain accurate records, entering charges promptly and efficiently, while minimizing waste and optimizing resource utilization.
- Participate in daily quality control checks, ensuring equipment functionality and reporting any malfunctions to management.
Requirements:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in OB/GYN, Abdomen, or Breast, OR Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification in Sonography or Vascular Sonography, OR RVT or RVS credential within 18 months.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to adapt to multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including radiology information systems and office software.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

The position is located at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, a beautiful 267-bed facility situated in the heart of The Woodlands, Texas.
