We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at TeamLogic IT. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a dynamic group of professionals.

About the Role:

  • As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
  • You will serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues, providing timely and effective resolutions to meet our clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide first-contact support to clients via phone, email, or web portal, ensuring courteous and effective resolution of technical issues.
  2. Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes to meet SLAs.
  3. Utilize remote tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve support requests and perform hands-on fixes when necessary.
  4. Install and configure hardware and software components throughout network infrastructure devices.
  5. Implement antivirus software and maintain up-to-date virus definitions.
  6. Perform preventative maintenance on workstations, printers, and peripherals.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience (5-10 years).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows 10, 11, and Mac OS).
  • Familiarity with server operating systems (Server Server 2012, Server 2016) and Active Directory knowledge is a plus.
  • RMM (Kaseya, Ninja, ConnectWise) and Autotask PSA experience is also a plus.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to drive to customer locations when required.
