Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CT Technologist to join our Imaging Services team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing complex imaging procedures, operating CT scanners and related equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans accurately and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and patient safety standards.
  • Position patients for CT scans using positioning devices and protective equipment as necessary.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast media.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate processed images for transmission to the Image Archival System.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
  • Charge procedures and supplies in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Dispense and order oral contrast for CT scans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and provide orientation and training to new CT technologists.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop new imaging protocols and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification.
  • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within 18 months of employment.
  • BLS certification.
