Job Title: Direct Support Professional

At Avita Community Partners, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live fulfilling lives in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve, providing emotional support and encouragement to help them reach their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to provide training and support in self-advocacy, self-preservation, and whole health.
  • Help individuals participate in their communities and engage in activities they enjoy.
  • Support individuals in fulfilling their hopes and dreams, promoting independence and autonomy.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED and six months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, or equivalent education as a CNA or Health Care Tech.
