Job Title: Semiconductor Equipment Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Equipment Service Specialist to join our team at Beacon Hill Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment, ensuring our customers' operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems to minimize downtime and interruptions
  • Install new equipment on customer sites, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required, providing valuable insights for future improvements
  • Collaborate with peers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate activities and ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Order and install parts, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions
  • Respond to emergency service calls, providing prompt and effective support
  • Instruct customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices
  • Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations
  • Stay current on equipment and tools through regular training, manuals, and industry publications
  • Maintain the upkeep, security, and maintenance of company property, including vehicles and tools
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technology, or Associates degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field
  • Electrical/mechanical experience, with a strong background in semiconductor equipment maintenance and repair
  • Military backgrounds are highly valued, with a proven track record of success in similar roles
  • Prior semiconductor experience is a significant plus, with a deep understanding of technical issues and company procedures
Pluses:
  • Prior experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment
  • Military backgrounds, with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer interface skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to use appropriate tools and equipment
  • Thorough understanding of technical issues involving the maintenance, repair, and installation of company equipment and procedures
Physical Requirements:

Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, requiring mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds. May require bending, stooping, crawling, or climbing, as well as the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with hazardous materials or conditions.

  • Travel varies based on team, with 0-100% travel teams available with added financial incentive
