We are seeking a skilled Senior Physical Therapy Specialist to join our team at The Staff Pad in Helena, Montana.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist to provide high-quality care to patients in our hospital setting. As a Senior Physical Therapy Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall quality of life.
You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes and provide compassionate care in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, including range of motion, strength, balance, and functional status.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Implement a variety of physical therapy techniques and modalities to improve patients' mobility, relieve pain, and enhance functional independence.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on exercises, activities, and strategies to improve outcomes and prevent injury or re-injury.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly reassess patients' progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and communicate with other members of the healthcare team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Education: Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy or graduate of an accredited college or university with a certificate in Physical Therapy.
- Licensure: Current State Physical Therapy Licensure.
- Current BLS (CPR) certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
