Clinical Assistant Professor of Audiology

The University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, invites applications for a full-time, twelve-month term position in Clinical Audiology. This appointment will be made at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor, depending on the candidate's profile.
Key Responsibilities- Provide graduate student clinical education and training for the Clinical Doctor of Audiology program (AuD).
- Participate in all facets of AuD training, including direct clinical supervision in the UB Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clinic and in the Western New York Community.
- Conduct administrative duties associated with off-site clinical placements and develop specialty clinics.
- Teach graduate-level coursework within areas of expertise.
- Provide service to the department, the university, and the community.
- Provide clinical audiology services in the UB Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Clinic and in the community.
- Educate and train graduate audiology students in the clinic, during hands-on labs, and while in the community.
- Manage administration related to clinical training and clinical operations.
- Develop interprofessional and collaborative clinical relationships within and outside the university community.
- Teach 1-4 academic courses across the calendar year.

Qualifications- Graduate degree in Audiology with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience and a minimum of 1 year of clinical supervision experience.
- Candidates are required to have or be eligible for ASHA certification, CCC-A.
- Have or be eligible for NY State Licensure.
- Have or be eligible for a NY State Hearing Aid Dispensing License.
- Prior teaching experience in speech and hearing science at the university level is preferred.
- Preferred candidates are engaging, motivated, self-initiators, and highly organized.
