Financial Reporting Manager

Delaware North is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in Buffalo, New York.
As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for leading the financial reporting and consolidation processes, collaborating with stakeholders to streamline operations, and overseeing a team of accountants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly financial reporting and consolidation.
- Coordinating and supporting the year-end financial external audits and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Preparation of quarterly and annual debt compliance reporting packages and communication of results with senior leaders.
- Develop team members by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; professional certification such as CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role or equivalent.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- GAAP and financial statements knowledge.
- Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with other financial systems such as Blackline, Workday, and OneStream a plus.
