Senior Product Designer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Designer to join our team at Identified Talent Solutions in the Greater Washington DC Area. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced designer who thrives in a fast-paced, Agile environment and is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences.

About the Role:

  • This Senior Product Designer will lead the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring the highest level of quality and user satisfaction.
  • You will partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into intuitive, elegant design solutions.
  • Conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to inform and validate design decisions will be a key responsibility.
  • You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
  • Advocating for user-centered design principles and best practices throughout the organization will foster a culture of design excellence.
  • Mentoring junior designers and staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools will be essential to your success.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and deliverables, is necessary.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent is required.
  • A solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, with experience conducting user research and usability testing, is essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders, are necessary.
  • A proven track record of delivering successful design solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment is required.
  • Experience working in the SaaS industry or with enterprise-level applications is a plus.

What We Offer:

The Senior Product Designer can expect to work full-time hours, with a blended schedule of onsite/remote work days. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
