Job Summary
The Administrative Coordinator I provides administrative support to the Department of Otolaryngology, including complex coordination of meetings and leadership activities, tracking and scheduling academic appointments, and monitoring clinic schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to department physicians, including faculty with Health System leadership roles.
- Coordinate meetings and conferences, track and schedule academic appointments, and monitor clinic schedules.
- Perform special projects related to departmental clinical, academic, and research administration.
- Prioritize and respond to electronic messages from department physicians and patients.
- Oversee timekeeping of bi-weekly staff and manage and approve timecards.
- Maintain divisional calendars and coordinate meetings and events.
Requirements
- A high school diploma and four years of relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services.
- A bachelor's degree and two years of experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services.
