About the Job

This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and be committed to upholding our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to meet established standards of cleanliness and propriety
  • Maintain a clean and organized cleaning cart and storerooms to enhance efficiency
  • Perform thorough cleaning of windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in rooms and public areas
  • Wash shower walls and tubs, clean toilets, and wipe exposed pipes, mirrors, sinks, and walls in restrooms
  • Replace towels, soaps, and room amenities, and restock literature that has been removed or is soiled
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings, including using a duster to reach vents and ceiling corners
  • Strip beds of all linen and remake with fresh linens, checking bedspreads, blankets, and bed pads for cleanliness
  • Check closet for cleanliness, wiping closet door, handle, and overhead shelves, and restocking guest room supplies
  • Vacuum rooms, public areas, and hallways, operating vacuums weighing up to 25lbs.
  • Inspect door and window locks to ensure they are in working order and report any issues to management
  • Secure and maintain custody of equipment, keys, and supplies at all times
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent, and experience with cleaning standards in the hospitality industry. You should also be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including lifting up to 50lbs. and working for long periods while standing or walking.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $30,000, based on national averages for similar positions in the United States.
