Physician Advisor

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated health system in NJ, is currently seeking a skilled Full-Time Physician Advisor for employment at Clara Maass Medical Center.

This Physician Advisor will collaborate with administration, medical staff, and case management department leadership to provide a comprehensive clinical resource management program. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining standardized practices for Physician Advisor Services
• Participating in reviewing and developing medical guidelines and policies for quality and efficiency of care

The ideal candidate will have:

• Board Certification/Eligibility and a valid NJ License
• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice experience
• Previous utilization management experience in an acute care setting
• Prior leadership experience required
• CHCQM certification
• Knowledge of CMS Regulations and nationally accepted guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and set priorities

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $120,000-$180,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
