Job Title: Senior In-Building Construction Manager

Ampcus Incorporated is a leading provider of technology and business consulting services. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior In-Building Construction Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Senior In-Building Construction Manager will be responsible for the technical aspects of telecommunications equipment deployment and management at assigned job/venues. This includes ensuring the appropriateness of the site for deployment, recommending or selecting suppliers, and identifying and validating scope items with RF and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform feasibility walks at venues alongside the data collection SP.
  • Establish a POC with the venue for access and scheduling.
  • Determine and potential scheduling conflicts with venue ahead of time.
  • Verify cable routing, GPS placement, DOT placement, ingress/egress to headend using iBwave software.
  • Identify any potential roadblocks that could occur during the construction phase and develop mitigation plans ahead of time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of related work/industry experience.
  • Degree preferred.
  • Basic technology or related trade course work completion.
  • Specifically, in-building RAN systems (DOT, PDAS, ODAS) experience.
  • Ability to determine site feasibility, as well as site design consulting as needed.
  • Direct knowledge of working in both large and small venues.
  • Experience in managing and directing general contractors, construction scope estimation, etc. (In-building, Backhaul, Maintenance Work).
  • Knowledge of and ability to enforce and customer construction and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting practices and techniques.
  • Understanding of site acquisition, zoning, permitting, landlord negotiations, leasing laws, jurisdictional requirements, and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to interface with customers, property owners, and other internal and external ancillary personnel as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of contracts (leasing, vendor facing, customer facing) and budgets.
  • Understanding of EHS statutory requirements impacting in the local market.
  • Completion of approved OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) 30-hour course for telecommunications industry.
