RN-Float - Labor & Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a Float RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in a diverse healthcare environment, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and serving as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery, including assessing and coordinating patient care needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, compassionate care.
- Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, providing timely updates to the healthcare team.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
- RN candidates with 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby are strongly preferred.
- Candidates with EFM certification, or those willing to obtain within 18 months of hire, are strongly preferred.
