Job Summary

The Community Outreach Specialist - Recovery Support will be responsible for developing and maintaining peer-to-peer support services and activities at an active recovery support center. This role requires building relationships with community organizations, managing outreach efforts, and creating educational presentations on the benefits of the recovery support center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and network with recovery-oriented community organizations to promote the recovery support center's services
  • Manage peer outreach efforts at community events and activities
  • Develop educational presentations on the benefits of the recovery support center
  • Assist in gathering data for reports
  • Develop new membership orientation and training programs for Peer Volunteers
