About the Role:

The Nurse Supervisor is a vital member of our team at Quality Talent Group, responsible for overseeing the operation of the nursing department and facility. This role requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can organize and maintain staffing guidelines to meet resident needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate and ensure that policies, procedures, practices, objectives, and goals are carried out to attain maximum resident care.
Demonstrate administrative/clinical expertise consistent with established standards of Nursing Practice.
Organize, oversee, and supervise assigned unit activities and staff assignments, demonstrating clinical expertise consistent with established standards of Nursing Practice.
Identify and respond appropriately and timely to patient needs.
Monitor, observe, and document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses.
Administer medications and treatments as needed.
Communicate and direct services ongoing or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff as needed.
Identify and follow disciplinary action as stated in policy.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, physicians, and other vendors'/services.
Perform RN assessment to resident's post incidents or change in condition.
Lead and direct emergency situations - (Fire alarm, Elopement, etc.).
Maintain accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, and census roster.

Requirements:

Current and good standing RN License in State of New York.
Experience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimer's patients is desirable.
Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred.
Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident.
Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, and elderly.
Have patience and willingness to assist any residents and co-workers.
Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills.
Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff.
Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDC.
