Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to join our team. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work with a skilled healthcare team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
About the Role:
This position requires a dedicated and compassionate RN who can effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. As a CVOR Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology. Your expertise in perioperative nursing practices will ensure smooth and efficient transitions between phases of care, promoting optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Assist with preparation and positioning of patients for procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state where practicing
- BLS certification required, CNOR certification preferred
- At least one year of experience in CVOR or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environments
