Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Education Specialist - Reading to join our team at Hernando County School District.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instructional support to teachers and students in the area of reading. This includes developing and implementing reading programs, providing professional development to teachers, and assessing student progress.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and a valid Florida Teaching Certificate for the level and subject area in which to serve. Additionally, the candidate must be considered Highly Qualified if applicable to the subject area.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is based on the approved salary schedule - Instructional. The successful candidate will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work 197 days per year, with a standard working day of 7.75 hours.
