Senior Endocrine Care Specialist

UofL Physicians is seeking a highly skilled Diabetes/Endocrine Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a Level 1 academic medical center, and we need a dedicated professional to manage critically ill patients with diabetes. As a Diabetes APRN, you will collaborate with multiple physician groups to provide comprehensive care for adult patients with acute or traumatic illnesses.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage pre-existing and new-onset diabetes in critically ill, hospitalized patients in an intensive care and progressive care setting. You will perform physical exams, collect and document data, organize diagnostic procedures, order laboratory studies, prescribe interventions and medications, and provide direct patient care services in the hospital setting.
You will contribute to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and leadership within the organization and the nursing profession.
Key Requirements:
- A Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Valid Advanced Practice Nursing Licensure in the state of Kentucky.
- A minimum of three years of relevant advanced practice nursing experience, preferably in an academic medical center and ICU setting.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing diabetes in an acute care setting and be proficient in prescriptive privileges within the confines of Kentucky state law.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
