Accounts Receivable Team Lead and Training Specialist

Overview:
At Golden Nugget Hotels & Casinos, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Lead and Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Supervisor in maintaining departmental goals and objectives. This includes running or requesting Accounts Receivable reports as needed, reviewing adjustments and refunds prior to the manager receiving them, and performing supervisory tasks as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, mentor, and coach Accounts Receivable staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
- Collaborate with the AR Supervisor to prepare and review Month End Journal Entries and AR Reconciliations.
- Determine which accounts require special attention and prioritize them accordingly.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members with work-related issues and special projects.
- Cover and assist in other areas as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure new employees are properly oriented and equipped to perform their duties.
- Assign tasks and duties to employees, providing clear instructions on expectations and performance metrics.
- Assist the A/R Supervisor in evaluating staff performance, providing constructive feedback, and making decisions regarding probationary periods.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to manage and motivate employees, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, administrative, and multi-tasking skills, with a focus on organization and prioritization.
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and collaboratively, consistently delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, with a focus on productivity and efficiency.
- Minimum age requirement is 21.
