Senior Manager Job Summary

GAT Airline Ground Support is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our airport operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining financial budgetary goals, safety policies, and working conditions that affect employees on the job.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Manage operation activities, including multiple carrier contracts, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and motivate a team of employees to deliver high-quality services and meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with customers to determine manpower requirements and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Oversee recruiting and placement efforts to ensure the right talent is hired for the job.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, including FAA, OSHA, EPA, US Dept. of Labor, and EEOC.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the airline industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing and leading people with financial responsibility.
  • Executive presence and understanding of a large corporate environment.
  • Strong strategic skills and business acumen, combined with the ability to motivate teams to deliver high-quality standards.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with all stakeholders.
