About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer/Engineer to join our team at EXP. As a key member of our Entertainment, Hospitality Team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, reports, and drawings.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers to ensure their growth and development.
  • Apply risk management practices to project engineering.
  • Lead the discipline design to produce construction documents that meet project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts.
  • Encourage collaboration to seek the best solutions.
  • Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.
  • Write studies and reports for electrical systems on projects.
  • Execute complex electrical designs with conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination.
  • Evaluate Value Engineering (cost cutting) items with respect to our level of risk.
  • Edit and develop basis of design narratives documenting project scope.
  • Meet with contractors during bid phase to review design details.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in electrical design for Hospitality, Entertainment or Healthcare facilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of NEC and building codes.
  • Experience in using SKM Power Tools or similar software for engineering calculations.
  • AutoCAD and REVIT MEP proficient.
  • BS Architectural Engineering, or BS Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree.
  • Registered P.E. is preferred but not required.
