Overview

Frink-Hamlett Legal Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Associate Senior Counsel to join our team in North NJ. As a key member of our legal operations - commercial department, you will be responsible for providing counsel specific to the company's pharmaceutical regulatory needs.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $215K-$220K with benefits, 20% target bonus, and LTI (additional cash). Relocation is considered for exceptional candidates.

Job Responsibilities

The Associate Senior Counsel will work closely with the Assistant General Counsel, Legal Operations - Commercial to provide proactive and day-to-day legal support, advice, and counsel on various commercial and medical matters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Commercial and Medical Matters: Provide counsel on promotional and medical affairs materials, labeling, sales training, and media/digital materials.
  • Pharmaceutical Laws Compliance: Ensure the company's compliance with laws including the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, PhRMA Code, and FDA regulatory guidelines.
  • Legal Representation: Serve as the legal representative on promotional and scientific review committees.
  • Risk Management: Manage the legal and reputational risks of assigned business clients.
  • Strategic Implementation: Help drive the implementation of legal strategy and policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • JD Degree and Experience: JD degree and 7+ years of legal practice, including a minimum of 4 years focused on providing counsel to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • State Bar Membership: Member in good standing of a state bar.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of FDA regulatory and fraud and abuse law.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent level of oral and written communication skills, able to effectively present ideas, counsel, and information to others.
