Behavioral Therapist - Behavioral Development Specialist

About the Role

In this role, your tasks will be diversified and you will be supporting our mission.

You will work in a dynamic work environment where no day is ever the same as the next. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will develop behavioral plans and provide behavioral therapy, and other therapeutic services to program participants.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the individuals we serve and staff to observe, identify, analyze, and document a range of behavior challenges.
  • Conducting functional behavioral assessments.
  • Developing and implementing behavioral analysis service plans.
  • Creating individualized treatment plans to help each individual we serve improve.
  • Using training and creativity to explore ways to handle challenging problems for our individuals in home settings, workplaces, and the community.
  • Training team members to reinforce implementation of behavioral plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • BCBA Certification required.
  • Five years of experience working with special populations in behavior management desired.
  • Experience with behavior analysis within an applied setting preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
