Estimated Salary

$62,500 - $82,000 per year, based on experience

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. This includes managing the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exam, instructing patients on collection of any necessary samples/tests, and obtaining vitals. You will also notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments, and instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient records, including chart entries and posting lab/tests and examination results.
  • Schedule tests and treatments, including arranging referrals to a specialist and obtaining pre-authorizations when directed by the provider.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting, preferably.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
