Job Title: Sedentary Lease Administrator
About the RoleWe are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Lease Administrator to join our team at Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting pertinent information from new store leases and renewals, updating store landlord addresses and rent escrow changes, and serving as a backup to the Admin Assistant for answering calls and directing department inquiries.
This is a sedentary role that requires minimal physical demands, with the employee sitting comfortably to perform tasks such as using office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, and observing fire regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Extracting Information: Reads new store leases and renewals to extract pertinent information for entry into the Store Master.
- Updating Records: Updates store landlord addresses and rent escrow changes in the Store Master.
- Supporting the Team: Serves as a backup to the Admin Assistant for answering calls and directing department inquiries.
- Document Management: Generates Agreement Setting Lease Term documents and ensures their timely execution by Landlord and Tenant.
- Scanning and Filing: Scans store leases and renewals.
- Communication: Types notice vacating letters to landlords and prepares moving and closing maps for advertising.
- Education: High School diploma.
- Experience: Two years of experience in a clerical position, with knowledge of lease language.
- Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong skills in organizing, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up, as well as problem-solving abilities.
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of offices, meeting rooms, and retail stores. The work area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated.
$55,000 - $65,000 per year based on location and experience.
