Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and coils on the table to ensure accurate and safe scanning.
  • Inject contrast media as required to enhance image quality.
  • Set technical parameters and observe image data on computer monitors during scans.
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations, ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accepted professional guidelines.
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
