Billing Operations Manager

The Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Manager to join our team. As the Billing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate issuance of invoices, ensuring compliance with client deadlines and internal processes. You will also lead a team of Billing Specialists, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to help them grow in their roles.
The Job:
• Provides holistic updates about billing to Upper Management.
• Reviews and/or prepares daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
• Monitors Billing transactions and activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and conformance to company policies.
• Develops strategies and tactics to optimize workflow.
• Acts as a liaison and escalation point between the Billing team and other Czarnowski divisions.
• Oversees the Billing process and ensures a successful monthly close cycle.
• Hires, manages, develops, and advocates for the Billing team.
The Person:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a billing role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and have a working knowledge of relevant software (e.g., ERP systems).Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts.
Exceptional attention to detail, along with the ability to identify errors or discrepancies in financial data.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in managing a team.
Has strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
